Journey Through the Bible Scripture Scavenger Hunt

bible scavenger hunt free printable 2 pages 1 black and white 1 colour

Materials:

  • Bibles
  • Baskets or Bags
  • List of Clues
  • Pencil and Paper OR my free printable (below)

You will need one Bible per small group or per child.

Instructions:

  1. Divide the kids into small groups or teams, or this can be done individually. Each child or each group will need a Bible, a place to gather their scavenged items, and a notepad and paper.
  2. Provide each team with a Bible (or Bible storybook for younger children), a list of clues, and a small bag or basket to collect their discoveries.
  3. Explain that the goal is to find items or information related to various Bible stories based on the provided clues.

Adaptation for pre-literate children: read each Bible passage aloud to them all as a group, then have them go off to find the items.
